Storyline

“Saint Mary(The Holy Mary)" is a 2001 Iranian film directed by Shahriar Bahrani. The film narrates the life of Saint Mary (peace be upon her) from her childhood to youth and depicts the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Parviz Poorhosseini won the Honorary Diploma for Best Actor at the 19th Fajr Film Festival for his portrayal of the Prophet Zechariah (PBUH) in this film. The cast includes Shabnam Gholikhani, Parviz Poorhosseini, Mohammad Kasebi, Roya Teimourian, and Hossein Yari.
