Storyline
This series, produced in the year 2000 in Iran and directed by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, portrays the life and era of Imam Reza (the eighth Imam of the Shiites) during his time as crown prince. It depicts events such as the prayer for rain, the Eid al-Fitr prayer and interfaith debates. At the 6th Hafez Awards, the series won in two categories: Best Directing for Mehdi Fakhimzadeh and Best Male Drama Actor for Akbar Zanjanpour. The cast includes Mohammad Sadeghi, Davoud Rashidi, Merila Zarei, Akbar Zanjanpour, Bita Farahi, Fathali Oveisi and Danial Hakimi.
