“Mahsa” lives in France with her husband Mehrdad, a biochemistry expert, and their two children. One morning, Mehrdad leaves for work but goes missing for three days—until his body is found near a river...

After hearing that Mahsa and the children have returned to Iran, Mehrdad’s father visits Sheida's house to speak with Mahsa and tells her he wants to take the children. Pari, the children’s grandmother, tells her husband she wants custody of the children…

Colonel Ebrahimi approaches Mahsa and tells her that if she shares information about Mehrdad, he’ll help her keep custody of her children. In court, Parry claims Mahsa uses psychiatric medication and asks the judge to give custody to her and her husband….

Sepehr falls ill due to missing his mother, so Pooneh asks her grandfather to let them return to their mom. Salimi persuades Parry to let Mahsa and the children meet….

Mahsa visits Parry's house to see her children. She asks for permission to take them to the north for a week and tells them she’s willing to hand over custody. Mahsa, the kids, and Vahid travel north to meet a man named Hassanzadeh….

They arrive in the north and stay at an eco-lodge. The next day, Mahsa and Vahid go to Hassanzadeh’s house, only to find he has passed away.

Ebrahimi visits Salimi to ask about Mehrdad. Mahsa and Baran go to Hassanzadeh’s house to offer condolences. Salimi discovers that his daughter Bahareh, whom he thought was dead, is alive and tells Pari.

Mahsa, Vahid, and the children visit the Molkavan estate. After hearing frightening noises, they try to flee, but their car breaks down, forcing them to return to the estate.

Pooneh secretly goes partying with Saeed and his friends and becomes ill from drug use. Ebrahimi confronts Vahid and says he knows everything about him and his activities….

Pari insists on seeing “Bahareh”, but her husband objects, saying now isn’t the right time. Hamid, Baran’s husband and a police officer, is investigating the Molkavan murders and suspects the “creature” people report seeing is a serial killer….

Mahsa visits Hassanzadeh’s wife to contact his son. Hamid asks Baran to accompany Mahsa to Molkavan and explains the strange events there….

Mahsa sends a voice message to Pari saying she’ll keep the kids for two months. Pari asks the company accountant for copies of all Salimi’s documents and deals. She also asks her husband to hold a memorial for Mehrdad….

Salimi takes Pari to see Bahareh from a distance. Vahid suggests that Mahsa settle in Molkavan. Mahsa searches for her real parents. Ebrahimi meets with Pari and tells her to stop interfering in her husband’s business.

Mehrdad and Vahid's ties to foreign intelligence services begin to surface. Salimi asks Masoud to convert a large sum of money into dollars and threatens to expose him if he refuses....

Masoud tells Salimi that currency exchange isn't possible at the moment. Mahsa and the children move into Molkavan. Hamid patrols the area and sees a man in the dark—when spotted, the man runs, and Hamid chases him....

Mahsa tells Vahid she found an old photo of Asieh taken in Molkavan. A wounded Hamid makes it back to Molkavan. Mahsa argues with Pooneh over her frequent outings....

Mahsa wakes in the night and finds Pooneh missing. Hamid and Vahid seek Saeed, hoping he knows Pooneh’s whereabouts. Azadeh’s health worsens, and she’s hospitalized....

Ebrahimi tells Salimi he knows Mehrdad is alive. He has been hiding Mehrdad in a secret location to gather intelligence. Mahsa tells Pooneh that Azadeh has died....

Mehrdad records a message explaining why he worked with foreign intelligence. Vahid is seen talking to his imaginary friend Arezoo, and Mahsa catches him, asking who he was speaking to. Mahsa decides to send the kids to stay with Pari....

Pari evicts “Adleh” under the pretense of selling the house. Hamid questions Asieh about Molkavan’s previous residents. He tells Baran he saw something larger than a human and shot it. Asieh discusses the wounded figure with Saber....

Ebrahimi takes Mehrdad to Salimi’s house to see his mother. Mahsa hears a noise from a hidden door in the mansion and finds a mural behind it. Mehrdad tells Ebrahimi that the idea of faking his suicide came from Vahid.....

Soheil visits a nursing home to speak with a woman named Sahra Malekpour about Molkavan. Mahsa and Vahid visit the parents of a woman named “Banoo” who was murdered in Molkavan. A young girl lost near the estate enters the mansion and encounters a terrifying creature...

Mehrdad asks Ebrahimi to keep Vahid away from his family. Asieh tells Saber that Mahsa has found Sahra. Mahsa sees Asieh, Vahid, and Sahra whispering and grows suspicious, sharing her concerns with Baran….

Pooneh asks Soheil to take her to Sahra to hear the truth firsthand, but Sahra insists she’ll only speak to Mahsa. Pari tells Salimi she wants a divorce. While talking at night, Mahsa and Baran hear a window break and are startled….

Banoo’s parents are told their daughter drowned while fleeing from Asieh’s son. Mahsa and Mehrdad reunite. Mahsa visits Sahra to ask about her past and her real family…

Pari dies. Mahsa brings Sahra to her house, and Sahra explains everything about Molkavan, revealing that their father acquired the estate through fraud. Mahsa tells Mehrdad she won’t tell the children he is alive….

Mehrdad begs Vahid to cooperate with the police, but Vahid refuses. Mahsa and Sahra head north to settle the estate’s future. Saber and Asieh confess to everything.
